We provide formal and semi-formal wear including dresses, tuxes, suits, shoes wraps, cosmetics and accessories for Grade 8 and Grade 12 graduating students. The people who use Wish Upon A Star services would otherwise be unable to attend such an important event as their Graduation or prom, due to financial constraints.

Below is our literature that we hand out for you to print off or read online. This info can be used personally or it can be distributed at your place of business or anywhere you can to help spread the word. If you are unable to view the handouts please visit Adobe.com and download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Our goal is to assist young ladies and young men, who may have economic difficulties in attending their prom. We are a non-profit organization comprised of volunteers who would like to see all students to be able to have fond memories of their high school years, with a little bit of help, to leave their school years with style and glamour as they transition into great things.

School graduation signifies the accomplishment and transition from one stage in a young person's life into another. It is a time for students to rejoice for all the years of hard work, studying and preparing. To celebrate the goals that were made and finally attained. It is a time for them to enjoy this one special night that they all share.

Unfortunately, the reality is that not all graduates can afford all the luxuries and extra expenses that come with formal. There are students who did not go to their formal this year because they couldn't afford to. So many youth are on Social Assistance or are living in low-income households under the poverty line. These youths struggle with the burden of their everyday lives. The one thing that we can attempt to do is give them their night to shine.

"Wish upon a Star" is about students self-image and self-esteem.
